Where Our Data Comes From, and What Happens When It’s Wrong

Every data vendor claims accuracy. Almost none tells you how it’s measured or what happens when a record misses. This page does both, because a claim you can’t test is marketing, and a guarantee you can invoke is a product.

The sources

DAITA DRIVE profiles are compiled from more than 40 licensed data sources spanning property records, household demographics, and behavioral signals, refreshed on a rolling cycle. Behavioral scoring is built on our own consumer research into homeowner insurance buying psychology: four mindset drivers, validated against shopping timelines and message response.

The part most vendors won’t say

Our coverage starts from the same class of licensed sources as the rest of the category. The hundreds of millions of records everyone in this business advertises, including us, trace back to a small set of upstream identity graphs, which is why the numbers across vendor websites look so alike. We don’t treat that as a secret, because the warehouse was never the product. What you’re buying is what gets built on top of it: the DRIVE Score’s behavioral and timing models from our own research, one-buyer exclusivity in contract, per-file scrubbing with certificates, and the guarantee below.

What does 95% accuracy mean?

It means we expect at least 95 of every 100 records to reach a real, correctly identified homeowner at the address and number listed. It does not mean every record is perfect; compiled data never is, and vendors who imply otherwise are selling you an asterisk. It means the misses are ours to fix, free.

The replacement guarantee

Disconnected number, wrong number, or deceased: replaced free, no argument, no form-fight. Report it and the replacement ships in your next file. This guarantee is in every contract, and it is the entire reason we can put a number like 95% in writing.

What we deliberately don’t do

We don’t sell records as “consented leads,” because compiled data carries no consent. We don’t sell the same lead twice. We don’t score anything for insurance eligibility or underwriting; DRIVE Scores exist for marketing prioritization only. And we don’t sell your customers’ data back into the market: an opt-out to any DAITA DRIVE buyer suppresses that consumer across our whole platform.

Registered and accountable

DAITA DRIVE operates as a registered data broker in the states that require it, honors consumer opt-outs including Global Privacy Control signals, and maintains a public Do Not Sell mechanism. If you’re a consumer rather than an agent, your opt-out and deletion rights are linked in the footer of every page.

FAQ

The questions agents actually ask.

How often is the data refreshed?

Sources refresh on a rolling cycle and subscription files are re-scored and re-scrubbed monthly, with a new dated scrub certificate on every delivery.

How do I report a bad record?

Flag it from your delivery file or tell your rep. No proof ritual: disconnected, wrong number, or deceased gets replaced in your next file.

Is the DRIVE Score a credit score or insurance score?

No. It predicts marketing relevance: buying mindset, shopping timing, and message fit. It is never an eligibility, underwriting, or credit input, and our contracts prohibit using it as one.

Do you use the same data sources as other vendors?

Substantially, yes, and we say so plainly. Most consumer data vendors license from the same small set of upstream aggregators, which is why record counts across the industry look nearly identical. The differences that matter happen after licensing: scoring, verification cadence, exclusivity terms, and what happens when a record is wrong.
